Xie Chenggang, the proprietor of the Taichang, known as the "Forrest Gump of Tea", has been in Lijiang, Yunnan for 11 years. Over the years, he has always adhered to the traditional craft of making tea by hand; this persistence stems from the enthusiasm of his ancestors for more than a century. Xie hoped that our team would shoot a corporate film for him, but after discussing with Xie, our director finally adopted this slow chronicling technique. And our filming team went further to Lijiang, Yunnan, to present Taichang in a better way. The beauty of Lijiang and the strong taste of tea make a great film while matching the brand image.
